Our Services

Through generous community support, we are able to provide the following services at no charge:

  • Assisting the Jewish community to determine if they qualify for reduction of mortgage payments under the US Treasury's "Making Home Affordable Initiative"
  • Emergency relief, including mortgage payment assistance and loans for housing-related expenses threatening the continued shelter of the family
  • Consultation and negotiation assistance with mortgage lender/servicer
  • Mortgage and financial affordability analysis, home valuation determination and loan servicer contact, and education as to mortgage and housing options
  • Loans for transition to lower cost housing for families who have good credit, who can no longer afford their existing home, and whose current home is worth less than their mortgage balance
  • Loans to assist those transitioning from no longer affordable or feasible home ownership to apartment rentals
  • Referral to additional support services.
